Does every invoice become a document?
No, and that is deliberate. A thousand invoices all look alike, and semantic search finds nothing useful in them. Ragnight folds their information — total invoiced, outstanding, period, latest documents — into the customer or supplier record, which is what people actually query.
Are ledger entries and bank details indexed?
No. Ledger entries and transactions stay out of scope, and no IBAN is ever indexed: a knowledge base is readable across the organisation, and bank-detail fraud starts exactly there.
What about individual customers?
They are excluded by default: they are natural persons, and their details would become visible to anyone with access to the knowledge base. An account can include them explicitly, and the number of records left out is reported on every sync.
Does Ragnight modify my data in Pennylane?
No. The Pennylane connector is read-only: Ragnight indexes your content for search, and never modifies or deletes it.
